One of the problems of detailing a 1:20.3 scale, narrow gauge garden railroad is finding display vehicles of a suitable scale. Vehicles of 1:18 scale are too large and vehicles of 1:24 scale are too small. The images below illustrate the size difference between the three most commonly used scale vehicles for garden railroads.

The kits listed on this page are 1:20 scale, Hubley®, Classic Metal Kits, made by Scale Models and Gabriel. Un-assembled, die cast, metal kits, with plastic accessories, new and factory sealed unless otherwise noted. No longer in production, these automobile kits are very hard to find in new, un-opened condition and represent the only vehicles ever produced in 1:20 scale, that I know of. Not recommended for children, the assembly of these kits require the use of sharp tools and contain many small parts, plastic and metal.
